General Aviation accounts for 40% of the aircraft operations at the Appleton Airport, a service provided by Outagamie County. In order to accommodate requests for more personal hangars, the airport has completed a new GA Area in the southeast section of the airport, allowing more people to conveniently use the airport. This initial phase will accommodate up to thirty hangars. Aircraft owners are now able to lease land to custom build hangars for single or twin engine aircraft. Lots are adjacent to Taxiway M and Runway 11/29, a 6,500' x 150' runway, and are fully developed with access to water, sewer, electric and natural gas.
