  • Equivalent power generated over the selected period.
• CO2 Offset
  • How much CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions were saved over selected period, based on the national average emissions factor (the amount of pollutants put into the atmosphere) for electricity at 137 pounds of CO2 per kWh (kilowatt hour- 1000 watts of energy used per hour).
• CO2 Equivalent
  • How many trees would have to be planted and grown over a ten year period to isolate the amount of CO2 (carbon dioxide) emissions saved, based on 85.07 pounds of CO2 per urban tree planted.
• Money saved
  • How much money would have been saved in terms of the kWh (kilowatt hour- 1000 watts of energy used per hour) generated for the selected period, based on an average cost of $0.12 per kWh.
• Power Equivalent
  (light bulbs)
  • Measures power generated in terms of how many 100 watt light bulbs could be powered for an hour.
• Power Equivalent
  (homes)
  • Measures power generated in terms of how many homes could be powered for an hour, based on an average number of 1.37 kWh (kilowatt hour- 1000 watts of energy used per hour) of electricity used per home per hour.
• Driving equivalent
  • Measures how many miles a car could be driven based on the BTU (British Thermal Unit- amount of thermal energy used to heat one pound of water to 1°F ) generated in the selected period, based on 114,500 BTU per gallon of a car getting an average of 19.7 MPG.
