Air travel today can be as easy as these four easy steps: |
| Step 1: |
Arrive at the airport at least one hour prior to departure time. However, if traveling during peak times, typically early morning departures between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. the suggestion is to arrive at the airport at least one and a half hours prior to departure time. |
| Step 2: |
Upon arriving at the airport, proceed to the ticket counter to check your luggage and receive your boarding pass. Please have a government issued photo ID (passport / drivers license) available for inspection by airline personnel. |
| Step 3: |
Proceed through the security checkpoint 45 minutes prior to departure time. Please have a government issued photo ID available for inspection by the TSA. |
| Step 4: |
After clearing security, proceed to the gate and wait for the boarding announcement. It is not necessary to show a photo ID at the gate prior to boarding. |
